Iki Modern Japanese Cuisine

My parents and I wanted to have lunch together and they wanted to try this new Japanese restaurant that had opened up called Iki. The interior is designed nicely and I like the atmosphere they had. Customer service was nice as they were attentive and nice. We tried their lunch special and it came in a tray with all these little appetizers like seaweed salad. My favorite on that tray is their steamed egg. It tasted so good I wanted seconds. Everything else wasn't bad either, but the most memorable was that steamed egg.
The only thing that bothered me about this place was their menus. On their menu, it had their lunch special with the price $12. Maybe it was my mistake of not finding the tiny, tiny print saying starting from, but either way I really dislike that. It feels like a restaurant is trying to rip me off and be sneaky about the price instead of just writing it out clearly. It wasn't about the price, but more about the concept that I wasn't happy about. I'm not sure if they've changed their menus so it's not as unclear, but I think that would be nice. Overall this restaurant isn't bad compared to the other Japanese restaurants in the area, but it's not a place that I'm dying to go back to. I'm curious as to what you guys think about the menu situation so let me know in the comments what your thoughts on it are!
