Ever since I saw some of my favorite YouTuber's use this face brush set from Vanity Planet, I decided to get one of my own. I guess you can say the advertising works! (haha) I know a lot of people rave about the Clarisonic set, but since it's in a higher price range, not everyone can afford that. I was also not about spending that much money for a brush set. When I saw the price of this Vanity Planet set, I thought it was a good bang for my buck.
The brush set is currently $30, which I think is a great price considering how there are four different brushes you can choose from. What I really like about this is that it's not only for the face, but for the body as well. I normally don't like using brushes like this on my face, but I felt like it would be great for the body. My legs aren't the smoothest looking as there are dots and random lines that I can't seem to get rid of, so I thought it would work well with my legs. It really did work great on my legs when I tried it as I felt like it was smoother, cleaner, and the lines and dots seemed to have gone away. The only thing is, I am lazy to keep this up. Typical.
I've also used it on my face a few times, along with my Eve by Eve's cleansing oil, which I am absolutely in love with. It smells like lavender and is super moisturizing on the skin. I love lathering this cleansing oil on my face. Plus, it's cruelty-free! I think it does the job on the face and can be really fun just massaging it into my skin.
After I use this cleansing oil and clean everything off, I put on this lovely mask from Origins. This is their rose clay mask that smells awesome and I love the tingling sensation it gives me after a nice face wash. It hardens after a while, and after washing the mask off, my skin feels so smooth and rejuvenated. I love the feeling it gives me after.
If anyone was interested in the Clarisonic but wasn't sure about the price tag, you can totally try the Vanity Planet brush set as I think it's really worth it and gets the job done. There are also other colors you can choose for your brush, but I went for a classic grey color. Again, I'd totally recommend this set.
Also, just to be clear, this is not sponsored or sent to me. I purchased this on my own!
